It's been said that no band, no matter how big, make as much noise as the Brighton-created duo Royal Blood. It seems crazy that these two guys can create such incredible hard hitting riffs and fills with just the two of them. Even Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin legend said that they "take rock into a new realm”. How Did We Get So Dark?
Their new single Lights Out from this album has taken over the mainstream media which is all good with me. We need more rock on the radio and less Spanish themed dance tunes in my opinion. Frontman Mike Kerr has said that this record is "way sexier and more confident sounding” than their debut.
Royal Blood Inspirations
Apple Music has an awesome connection with Royal Blood and they've got them to curate a playlist full of their inspiration. We're talking Rage Against The Machine, Jay-Z, Queens of The Stone Age and Daft Punk. So many different inspirations that have turned into a seriously awesome sound.
