Set in the beautiful lake district is the magical haven of Kendal Calling music festival at Lowther Deer Park on the 25th - 28th July. Featuring a range of music genres there certainly is something for everyone. Here are our top picks for what’s set to be a great weekend:
1. Years & Years
You’ve no doubt heard of this synth-pop band with their numerous hits including ‘Desire’. They’re bound to get your feed moving. Make sure you head down to check them out as they headline the festival on Friday night before Nile Rodger and Chic take to the stage.
2. Miles Kane
If indie rock is your thing, make sure you don’t miss out on Miles Kane’s set. Former frontman of the Last Shadow Puppets is going to bring all the rock vibes, think Arctic Monkeys vibes.
3. Nina Nesbitt
The Scottish singer songwriter has had two singles in the top 40 and is no doubt going to impress the crowd at Kendal Calling. With her tongue in cheek lyrics and catchy tunes, make sure she’s on your lists of artists to see.
4. Danny Howard
Now if dance music is your thing, Danny Howard’s set is going to be where it’s at. With a regular show on BBC Radio 1 and a residency in Ibiza you know he’s not going to disappoint.
